Description
Another pixel sword right away, and this time, it is the Switch version of the Koholint Sword, from 'Link's Awakening'!The Koholint Sword, formerly known as the 'L-2 Sword' or the 'Seashell Sword', is an optional stronger sword that can be obtained at the Seashell Mansion in Koholint Island. All Link has to do is collect enough Secret Seashells to enable the change. In the original game and its DX version, all you needed were 20 of the original 25 Seashells, and any that were not obtained upon receiving the sword were lost forever, replaced with 20 Rupees each time for up to the five shells lost.
In the Switch remake, however, there are a total of fifty Secret Seashells this time, and they are no longer missable. Of them, only forty are needed for the sword.
The original blade had a wing guard design similar to the Master Sword, only the blade, grip, and pommel were different.
I did my best to interpret the blade's new design as best as I could.
No sheath this time, since the blade did not have one. And the manga-only Nakura Sword shared the same scabbard as the original sword.
