This isn't one of those fan art pieces I didn't thoroughly think through while doing the sketch. It just started with ROM and then I just kept adding characters with the right color scheme to their costumes I wanted to try out my new coloring pencil set on. Although with Sabra I added her because I'd been hoping to see some new fan art of her turn up some where for a while now but some times if you want to see something get done you just gotta do it yourself.romspaceknightart.blogspot.com…

i always read the info on any piece i look at because i love knowing facts about the pieces/artists.....it said you drew this updated design based on the cover....and i said why mess with perfection.....to all artists you,the cover artist and interior artist.... i prefer you doing your original ROM pieces.

rather you originally read the info or not i found your comment really irritating because trying to out do the original ROM design was so not the point of this sketch and here you are droning on about how nothing "looks as sweet as Sal's" and so on. again, so not the point this sketch is a direct response to the finalized version of IDW's ROM as seen in the interior art of the zero issue.

either way.... i hate the art on the book... and the sketch you did earlier that day as a way to further illustrate something closer to what you would have preferred as an updated ROM design wasn't much of an improvement....again...my opinion not everybody else's
