MARVEL SURE ISN'T MY MARVEL! (60s to early 80s) once they started doing annual events that kinda forced you to buy every book and having multi plastic/die cut/embossed/silver foil variant covers didn't help any either, everthing went downhill for me. i loved seeing guest appearances but as an added bonus, not so it was continued over 4 other diff books i wasn't buying. oh well,makes the old stuff even more precious to me. loved sabra tho rarely seen afterwards, great homage piece indeed my friend. my practically tied for second placed comic series ROM/HULK

yeah, i had a full run of hulk once it hit 200 and after with maybe 40 issues prior to # 200. loved the series to death

Good stuff!Β Been a looong time since i saw Sabra!Β I have a solo story with her somewhere in one of my several footlockers!Β I've heard what Marvel did to Galador(Total BULLSHIT!!!!) Its one of the reasons i don' t read comics regularly,Β they rarely have good ideas these days,Β My love ended when they killed Illiyana(Magic) back in the late 80's (though i knew they'd bring her back somehow) But Marvel REALLY chafed my ass when they killed off one of the best of John Byrne's creations: Marrina!Β There was "0" reason to erase her and a man whose artwork i adored,Β Walt Simonson,Β who wrote that story now has my unending enimity!Β As Cutey Honey says: "I WILL NOT FORGIVE YOU!!"Β I'm only interested in old issues of comics i missed out on in my Army days in the 80'sΒ and old Warren Vampirellas.
Last comics i tried to buy steady were The StreetFighter series,Β gotta get back to those,Β love the artwork!

i saw your comment over at the blog too thanks. the 90s had a lot of good stuff but the 80s was an epic decade for Marvel. but these days, i just feel completely estranged from anything that Marvel puts out.
