This isn't one of those fan art pieces I didn't thoroughly think through while doing the sketch. It just started with ROM and then I just kept adding characters with the right color scheme to their costumes I wanted to try out my new coloring pencil set on. Although with Sabra I added her because I'd been hoping to see some new fan art of her turn up some where for a while now but some times if you want to see something get done you just gotta do it yourself.romspaceknightart.blogspot.com…

ya know i really hate what IDW has done with their ROM reboot but you actually managed to make him look cool here aside from this over all being an excellent illustration.

thanks for the compliment, too bad the same can't be said for IDW's rebooted ROM series. oh well, at least Avengers Civil War was great let's hope X-Men Apocalypse is at least half as good.

thanks for swinging by. indeed he is, although much like Boba Fett i kinda miss the days where Wolverine was a more of a cult favorite. i'd say that was through the 80s and into the early 90s.

I also think Sabra deserves more attention. Given terrorism these days it seems it would be natural to make some stories concerning her but Marvel is probably to PC to go there.

Great looking story and terrific art indeed. And I love seeing the incorporation of Old Testament stories like David and Goliath and Samson into this. Gotta say that despite all that I'm not a fan of her utilitarian suit. I really liked the old costume far better.
