Repto was based on the original Micronauts toy line and made sporadic appearances in the original series. I think idw used him as well in their reboot but donβt quite me on that. I was always under the impression that the reptiles feasted on bugs in the micro verse. So that means that there are usually at odds.

yeah that's true, but Bug is about to descend on a Repto poised to stab him with his rocket lance and there's no dire wraiths in this scene at all. so again, i'm just not sure what you appear to be seeing here.Β

thanks, the Bug vs Repto confrontation was used more then once in the original Micronauts series but it was a recent commission piece MICRONAUTS and THE THING in the BODY BANKS! Β i saw that inspired me to do it on this high end greeting card set insert that had this nice blank side on it.

and ya know what's funny about this one? about half way through the coloring process i kinda felt like it was getting screwed up but then it ended up turning out ok. anyways, thanks amigo. yeah i think i'm done for the year after these last 3 pieces i think i earned a rest.Β
