Description
Just a little something I did as a thank you gift for a fellow Transformers fan. I'll never be able to see a fight between Optimus and Megatron with out thinking of that Stan Bush song. But I think it also worked well in Boogie Nights.Related content

just like Survivor's Eye Of The Tiger that Stan Bush song was such cheesy 80s awesomeness. it never gets old, till the day i die i'll be singing along with songs like that whenever they come on.

I've even watched those Jean-Claude Van Damme movies Bloodsport and Kickboxer, which featured some Stan Bush music.

That´s an intense moment that reminds me of the marvel comic books, Blocky Transformers are the best! good work with the weapons too! Kinda reminds me of the "Metalzoic" graphic novel of the 80s too

yeah that more "blocky" look is definitely Marvel 80s. but the funny things is i wish i could draw the Transformers more like how they are drawn in recent years especially the way they were draw when IDW Publishing was doing Transformers comics Google search (Transfomers IDW). the details and coloring alone were incredible and they often drew the Autobots and Decepticons in these really dynamic and organic poses. that's one of the things that made Sal's work on ROM so cool is that he drew ROM in a more organic manner. here's a good example of what could have been a great illustration but the artist drew ROM way to stiff and mechanical looking for my taste www.deviantart.com/art/ROM-Spa…

i know the artist you´re referering, Pat Lee, hehe he had a colorful story, as he rose for stardom and spent all his money with his girlfriend: tfwiki.net/wiki/Pat_Lee
this Rom art is really good too, as you said, it´s a little too statuesque. and indeed Sal Buscema was very dynamic. Even a character who could be stiff, like the Vision, seemed dynamic on his lines
