(I'm a couple of hours late, but hey, when am I not late for these kinds of things?)

You there! What is this PxB Day you speak of?!
Popple x Birdo Day, March 13, was created by in '06, and I've been celebrating it ever since! Popple the Shadow Thief and (this instance of) Birdo are characters from the RPG Mario & Luigi. In the game, Birdo is constantly fawning over Popple, who is quite disgusted at the dame's advances.

So Popple is a little out of character here, but what can I say? I like drawing him as a big softy. >_>;
Also, I am a sucker for hanging-out-on-cliffs-at-night. I like to hang out on cliffs at night, and I like to draw characters hanging out on cliffs at night.

I had quite a bit of trouble with this picture. It was going swimmingly until I was just about done. Of course, being the idiot that I am, I hadn't saved it at all. And, of course, GIMP decides to crash and lose the entire picture. I managed to printscreen it, but the colours were horribly faded out. I had to mess with the saturation and brightness like nobody's business, but fortunately I was able to salvage it. : D No harm done in the end.
