Hi, could you put the wires down the back of the pendant instead??

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

cueKat In reply to Enchanted4090 [2014-04-20 12:59:33 +0000 UTC]

of course you can. Iv done this for a broach. cuekat.deviantart.com/art/Sea-… had used super glue to keep the centre piece in place so it was easier to work with.

Wow, love this piece! The overlap of two rows of weaving makes the piece look really intricate without grabbing too much attention to the centrepiece. Going to try this out someday

Quick question though, how long do i need to cut the colored craft wire ^^ sorry i dont know if i had mised that part or not ^^

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

cueKat In reply to THEGREATTITANICCHICK [2012-10-04 21:50:50 +0000 UTC]

When i work with the craft wire its still attatched to the coil. Its fiddly but at least you dont run out and create more work for you to start up again. Hope that helped.

THEGREATTITANICCHICK In reply to cueKat [2012-10-05 04:51:43 +0000 UTC]

ah ok thanks so much. do you have any suggestions on what to do if you don't want to put that loop on the first few steps?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

cueKat In reply to THEGREATTITANICCHICK [2012-10-05 21:08:58 +0000 UTC]

Ummm... well that loop is for the Chain or ribbon to go through but if you dont wanna do that then just go straight onto then next step...Only when i started this kind of wrapping i made sure it all worked as an end pice where it was all neat and tidy...So if you start on the other steps im not sure how much of a pentant it will be.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

cueKat In reply to THEGREATTITANICCHICK [2012-06-29 16:51:42 +0000 UTC]

i guess it would really depend on your center piece, you can make it as big or a little as you wish. thats the beauty of it hehe

This sounds double considering I have always wondering how to do something like this, just dont have a place/buy things I need to work with this type of wires. This would be intensely useful if I had the necessary materials currently but this is such a stunning and in depth tutorial *wags* Thanks so much.

cueKat In reply to LonelyGabu [2011-04-29 19:59:15 +0000 UTC]

Hey! thanks for the kind comment glad its clear, but it is very easy to get all this stuff over the internet. I dont have anywere here, where i stay, that sells this stuff either, i have to order.

But if you ever do do the tutorial id love love LOVE too see it good luck too

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LonelyGabu In reply to cueKat [2011-05-02 17:31:00 +0000 UTC]

It's not that its also kinda being pointed in the right direction. I learn through a visual means. If you show me live I get it almost automatically. When I read it, even with visual que's its not like they are in front of you teaching. its 50/50 when that happens *Giggles* I may make a tutorial but I am unsure of what to do.

Lots of luck back, and I need it to, would love to sell something ><. Kinda need the cash xD
