I love the fact that you add in the video fee - that's actually pretty ingenious I need to save this LOL In case life slows down for you at the same time that I actually have extra money XD

I figured it would be a fun addition if someone wanted a video made of their commission :3

Yeah I'm having a little break at the moment, most probably won't be accepting any new commissions before summer

Hello, excuse me this is going to to sound strange but could you do a commission of a weapon only?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CuriousCucumber In reply to wizofwonders [2018-09-08 06:31:43 +0000 UTC]

Sure, that would be no problem at all :3
Since it's basically a prop and not a character the price would range from 10$ - 20$ depending on the weapon complexity

MiniKoontzy [2018-07-16 19:13:56 +0000 UTC]

Just to clarify, your commissions require a reference sketch, right? I'm seeing you can do written ones for full body, but do you do written ones just for a bust/head-shot?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CuriousCucumber In reply to MiniKoontzy [2018-07-16 19:29:01 +0000 UTC]

If you don't have any reference image the design fee steps in on top of the regular price - with that you can order any slot.Β
Reference sheets don't necessarily have to have ref-pic provided, but for other commissions I usually require some sort of reference picture.Β

Here's all explained:Β

Hi there Irish! I just wanted to ask,
have you considered accepting payment plans for bigger purchases?

I've been wanting to get a TF sona/self-insert design from you for a while, but, I can't do the payment upfront right away,
(if I did, my dad would have my head).

So, If let's say that I wanted to get a reference shet with an extra full body (back view) and one weapon, which would be $150 total, would that be allowed to be paid in a payment plan o lets say by $50?? Thus being, $50, $50, $50 USD?

Which would cost me more in Canadian dollar to convert, which would be something like $188 in CAD.

Or would that not be accepted? understandable if its not uvu

CuriousCucumber In reply to RyanTheRainbow [2018-01-06 19:01:05 +0000 UTC]

Naturally different plans for payment can be agreed upon...Β
So I suppose you are basically suggesting you pay your commission in smaller sections instead of one full amount?Β
If so the solution is very simple - I'll send you an invoice for the full sum, but allow partial payment, meaning you can pay in smaller parts according to your liking.

This is no issue for me - however it only affects how I work, meaning that I don't proceed to certain stages with the commission before certain amount of payment has arrived.Β

RyanTheRainbow In reply to CuriousCucumber [2018-01-06 19:12:36 +0000 UTC]

Understandable, Idk how that'd work tho, I'm not used to doing payment plans lmao

Thanks tho! I don't see you accept payment plans so, I figured I'd ask before ordering a commission lmao

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CuriousCucumber In reply to RyanTheRainbow [2018-01-06 19:38:04 +0000 UTC]

I haven't done any payment plans before either - so if you have any other suggestions for solution
I'm all ears...

With PayPal it works like a normal invoice but you can pay it in parts

PanickandWingit [2017-10-09 22:13:39 +0000 UTC]

Hi! Sorry for the.. kinda stupid questions, but if we have a pretty general written description for a Transformers OC, but don't exactly have an image of the alt-mode, would you still require one, or can it be a bit of an afterthought? And could we give you a bit of freedom with the colors, or do you reallyΒ need a color palette for a reference sheet order?

And about payment.. I'm concerned with Paypal regarding linking credit cards as I'm not used to fully using it and am afraid it wouldn't reach you correctly for the commissions, so would we be able to pay beforehand and make sure it reaches you before the commission?

Sorry again, and thank you in advance ^^"

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CuriousCucumber In reply to PanickandWingit [2017-10-15 06:27:04 +0000 UTC]

Generally I do require an image for reference with all my commissions except for character reference sheet.
However a picture of an alt-mode is not necessary unless the picture itselfΒ has it visible.Β

If you only have written description and you order a reference sheet - I require as much information as you can give me
and where there is none I'll improvise and you agree giving me freedom for that. Exact color palette is also not necessary if you have a general
idea what kind of colors you want on your character. Additional pictures to show body type or certain details you like are also desirable, but I'm flexible and can do without just as well.Β

PayPal is very safe way to make payments and I've never had any issues with it nor receiving the payment - it's also very simple - I'll send you and invoice
you just accept from your account and the payment will be made. Payment beforehand is naturally perfectly fine.
Linking credit card to your account is only for safe identification and if you wish to make paymentsΒ  through the card (which I for one never do since I always use the money already in my account).
PayPal and DA points are currently the only methods of payments I use for my commissions
but if you have any other methods of payment in mind - let me know and we can discuss them.Β

No need to apologize :3 better ask aways!Β

How much would it cost for a ref sheet with just lines done o3o?
I can do the coloring myself if i get the original PSD file of the ref sheet

Form:
Character name: (might be changing it) SpeedHorse
Character sheet:Β SpeedHorse
Commission type: Linework ref sheet (front and back view)
Payment method: paypal preferably~
Extra?: if there's such a thing as a payment plan, i'd like to know if i could pay half now for one body view, then the other half once the first view has been drawn. But if not then i'd have to find a way to pay it all at once hhhh x_x

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CuriousCucumber In reply to RyanTheRainbow [2017-07-09 17:21:37 +0000 UTC]

It's basically a lineart commission with the design fee on top
- so fullbody is 27 $ + 25 $ = 52 $ for front view
and back view would be 40 $ on top of that.

And yes I use PayPal Invoices - where you provide me with email and I send the invoice to you.
Usually I make the sketch first and after that I ask for the payment before continuing.
I can invoice the views separately or both at the same time whichever works for you best. (so 52 as one and 40 as a separate invoice
they usually have 2 week notice, but I can adjust the invoice notice to suit you)

From now on - lets switch to notes shall we so reply to me with a note.
Let me know of any other details I might need to know - such a pose wishes etc.
Linearts will be provided as PNG so withouth background anyways.

Stella-AkiraTH [2016-11-28 16:10:35 +0000 UTC]

Since you draw Transformers character's,
would you be able to draw like, the Rescue Bot verse??
it's more of a Kiddie-fied of Transformers Animated x'D

Also, i've seen you sketch up Sonic style once in a tutorial stream,
is that still a possibility?? Would the prices change due to the size and time it takes you, or would they stay the same?
Which i'm fine with either or, i just want to ask and confirm things before i think about buying a commission from you x__x

Also, how did you make this template!?
it's so organized and net asdfghjkl;-;

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CuriousCucumber In reply to Stella-AkiraTH [2016-11-28 16:28:37 +0000 UTC]

Any verse and any character is fine really XD I've drawn Animated before too, sonic only for commissions.
Bay-verse is actually the only one that has to be discussed separately due to its overly detailed nature.Β

So all in all Β the topic and the character don't affect the prince unless we are talking about super detailed stuff
(lets say Bayverse, or Jaegers from Pacific rim or some super complicated game characters) - of those it's good to ask first
and I'll give an estimation of the price. But talking about regular characters the prices are the same.Β

Haha I constructed this template from scratch myself XD got some inspiration from few other
forms I saw online but basically I made this all by myself based on what I thought looked handy and clearΒ

Stella-AkiraTH In reply to CuriousCucumber [2016-11-28 16:36:51 +0000 UTC]

Ahh i got ya, so basically almost every single Sonic oc/fc could be drawn?
Since that style is generally not very complicated and time consuming either xD

h god, i can't even do Transformers Prime oc's let along those verse's x__x

asdfghkl I bet you used photoshop too x__x
I wanna get that so that i can up my art style and create an awesome template with all of my examples in it ;D
this just looks so clean! #TemplateGoals

CuriousCucumber In reply to Stella-AkiraTH [2016-11-28 16:45:12 +0000 UTC]

Basically yes - sonics aren't really too complicated to draw.Β

Of course I used PS XD I use PS for everything! But there are other good
programs you could well use for similar result.Β
However I did some doodling on paper first to see what type of a sheet
would work best for my needs.Β

Hey Irish!
I'm planning on getting a job soon,
and i was wondering about a few things:

1. how much would mini comic commissions be?
2. How much would it be to get a mini version of my Sonic character with one of my tf characters?
3. how much would it be for a height chart
4. how much would it be for a new reference sheet?

Just wanna confirm the prices o0o
since they may change depending on what i get 8T
