Description
This is a very very very big drawing! it's on A1 paper but surprisingly it only took an hour or two to finish.this was the first time i have used charcoal and it went really well though my hands got pretty messy
The picture is from the cover of the book, 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas' by John Boyne. I used it as inspiration for my A2 art coursework.

This was one of my pieces on the theme of the holocaust, its just the image from the book cover, so no artist in particular. It was more of an experimentation with a different media. It was the first time i'd used charcoal on a large scale.Β
