Description Happy holidays everyone. I planned on making a better tutorial on backgrounds as requested. I wanted to get this out for christmas.
This tutorial is better then the last few. Its part one and I am not sure how many parts there will be. I didn't talk about my settings. Instead I explained my actions.
This is done in photoshop cc. However, I know it works in the Cs series, elements, Paintool sai, and gimp. It requires layers and time.
I hope this helps you. I would appreciate feedback and would love to see what you create. Understand that my spelling in bad. It can be embarrassing. It just happens.

This was very helpful, I forget a lot of the time that making farther objects lighter gives the effect of distance.
