A reimagining of the main virtual villain of Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase...The Phantom Virus
After Codefinger's mission of stealing the classified Monstrum Code algorithm for The Masked Figure proved to be a success, the Figure plotted to use it to create his own army of monsters and ghosts. Before testing it out on human subjects, the Masked Figure first tests the code on his A.I. computer program, which as a result turned the program into a sinister and sentient computer virus called The Phantom Virus. While at first only being confined to computers, the Phantom Virus escaped the computer world and takes control over a special motion gaming suit designed by Eric Stauffer, thus obtaining a physical form. The Phantom Virus is able to control and manipulate any and all technology within his presence to attack Mystery Inc. The Masked Figure sees The Phantom Virus as a success in creating a real monster and plots to use the Monstrum Code to turn humans into his own monsters to command.
