Daisy Edgar-Jones had always been a loyal user of the Earpods, never taking them out and always letting Cybus take control for the daily download. Recently, however, rumours of mind control and a mysterious 'Upgrade' programme had placed doubt in her mind towards Cybus and she had begun to consider whether they could be trusted with access to her brain. Sat at home alone, she suddenly froze as her Earpods activated unexpectedly; she stared blankly forwards as they flashed and beeped and Cybus took control. Metal prongs emerged from the Earpods and connected above her head, boosting their power and giving Cybus full access to her thoughts; any negative feelings towards Cybus were found and deleted as her mind was conditioned for full unquestioning loyalty. Her reprogramming complete, the prongs retracted and her Earpods ceased their control, with Daisy completely unaware of what had happened. She went about the rest of her day, eagerly awaiting the daily download, any doubts in her mind suddenly eased.
