Description Ultramarines 2nd Company Captain Sicarius

Another model conversion i did using the rotery tool, using the original body of the inquisitor model Cortez and bits from my bitz box, ultramarine symbols and purity seals.
conversion took about 3 hours to do...

painted by myself.

tell me what you think!!

Dremil tool, rotary tools are the best invention ever when it comes to the minitures.... just wear goggles and a mask.....!!

Not bad. I love the paintjob and conversion work, I just don't really fancy the pose. Don't get me wrong, it's really good, I'm just more into action combat poses when it comes to marines

I might just add that for many of the more learnt warhammer 40,000 players/collectors out there that whilst i am collecting ultramarines i am going to great pains to make my army have the roman/crusader/monk theme, with a bit of seperate identity to the boxed sets....

hehe thanks, dont worry i do sometimes have trouble with my tones at times... i use a different type of blue a more 3 parts ultramarines blue and 2 parts regal blue....

the hardest part is that with all my normal troops i am trying to keep the armour a darker colour and with any charactures and vehicals i try to get the armour a lighter highlighting/ dappling effect as to get some personality to them.....
