Description
A simple conversion on a model and painted to be Captain Nathaniel Garro of the Death Guard, Hero Of The Imperium.Used only a simple colour scheme, as i wanted to keep it fairly simple.
I possibly will be doing a few similar projects based on the Horus Heresy Antholigy

Simply fantastic, I can't believe I've never seen this model before.
This is quintissential Garro, He looks clean (for a Death Guard), his pose is good, and his face looks perfect too.
I love the extra large backpack unit too, looks VERY Death Guardy!
Last of all, the free-hand on the shoulder pad is fantastic.

If I do, can I go with my (unorthodox) fluff and set him in the 42nd millenium, plus give him a double-bladed chainsword? I guess I could do a pre-heresy one of him as well like a before-and-after.

I love the pre-heresy legions and as always you do an excellent job. I like how you made him look kind of pale but still not to sickly. The armour makes him look like a true champion without making it abundant. Death Guard is my third favourite pre-heresy legion and I would really like to see you do some Emperors Children or Night Lords.

i am in the process of doing some, however on the post heresy side i am doing a emperors children army which retains the pre heresy colours (but obviously with a bit of a flair due to slannesh)

emperors children is my favorite traitor legion and slannesh is my favorite chaos god. I love their color scheme and they were the only legion which was allowed to bear the two headed eagle (correct me if I am wrong). Good luck with you job I hope to see more of it

cheers hey, with the power pack i was keeping i mind an older, bulker type of power pack - that was a bit of a chop swap job with a heavy bolder pack, and te sword was made with the emperors champion blade
