Description
This was modelled of an idea which i have been playing with for awhile, a Black Templar space marine which goes on a solo crusade (for reasons unknown yet) and i will be starting a Comic strip about it soon work permitting.I used one of the "Masters of the Chapter" models with forgeworld resin bits, fine link chain, existing black templar plastic bits and a touch of green stuff.
onl took a day to paint in total and the model is on sale on ebay at this moment.

no their not attached, i took the master of the recruits for my pedro model and gave it the same helmet arm and backpack and just cut off the power sword and sculpted a fist on.

Extremely impressive. There was a battle report a long time ago where the Emperor's Champion swore an oath that he would kill the ork Warboss in the coming battle. The warboss was mowed down by concentrated bolter fire, and while the Emperor's Champion routed 3 squads, killed a dreadnought and 2 killa kans, and took an objective (3rd edition), all without suffering a single wound, at the end of the battle he sought confession from the chaplain for his failure to fulfill his oath. He was sent on a penitent quest as a result, perhaps this guy is in similar straights.

Great model! This is the sort of stuff that really whips me into painting and modelling with greater passion. There is one word that describes this, as well as all your other models very well; inspiring!

Wow, that's awesome. You could get tons for a model like that on ebay I bet. I'd have had a Black Templars army, but I'm not keen on an all black colour scheme.

Thats AWESOME!!!I rate it...9 out of 10. loads of detail work done. And I must say, the Purity seal thats as big as his head looks kinda odd.
