Ultramarine commande. What type of commander? Only thing I think that needs to be fixed is the cape, just make it longer, a bit.

lol, simply done with a base colour and the lighten tool run over it with a splatter brush

Very nicely done. The scheme is perfect. Very nice attention to detail. I always wanted to try my hand at colouring the piece but I never got around to it. Maybe I'll have to give it a shot. And thanks again for taking such an interest in my work.

Imitation, observation, and practice. About the only real marker tip I can give is to remember to work from light to dark, at least when you're starting with them. With markers you can always go darker, but it's really hard (impossible?) to go lighter. Check out [link] , that's where I started.

My only suggestion is maybe using a richer shade of yellow for the...yellow bits. the bad-moon-esque yellow is a bit god awful But otherwise excellent

Very cool. I like the proportions a lot. And the pose, weapons, face and armor are all quite cool. All in all an excellent piece of work for both of you.
