since youtube updated the play button becames like 'Transparent' so it looks all black but when you click the black bar the music should play.. (it took me a while to realize this but hope it helps)

Change it to height="32".
The box will still appear black , but once clicked on you can actually see the pause buttons, etc.
I would recommend using the medium or higher for the newest youtube players!!

it will still be black until clicked, but now you can see the pause button, etc. i dont believe theres any way to change back to it showing the menu buttons w/o clicking though.... also , I would recommend using at least the 2nd small player w/ this c:

Hi there!
I wanted to ask you something about the youtube embed.
Currently I am using the 'small player 1' embed in one of my custom boxes. Normally you would see the little dark play box, however lately i have been seeing that it minimizes it's self into a little black bar and only opens up if you click on it. To be honest it kinda just looks like a random dark bar.
I was wondering if you had changed anything in your coding that makes the youtube embed act this way.

Yeah guys, It most likely is because of the new Youtube video player-bar. Although it does not look like it, it does still work just by clicking where it should be.

that is also happening to me, but another peculiar thing as well! i have two youtube players on my page, and while the first one, is, well, black, the other one is floral patterned. i have absolutely no idea why, the code is the exact same as the other player (save for the video ID).

that's probably because the video has a floral pattern on that part of the screen. it should still work if you click anywhere within the box c:

At first I thought it was probably a coding glitch as well, however after the dramatic update a lot of fingers point over to DA 'core'.
I didn't think it was youtube at first (it definitely could be because i didn't know YT updated)
I'm truly not sure what cite updated it, however what's clear is that it's not a problem with coding. The coding is working just fine!

Yes, I was going with the whole 'core' thing also,
but still didn't know if it was da's update, or yt's update,
as they did both happened yesterday.
(In fact, I was on yt as it happened, was watching a video,
then click another one, and suddenly, the player changed! ;o; )
eh, it really could have been yt update, as I remember I had the black boxes a few hours before da changed to this new core,
And also, when you play the video on yt now, the player will disappear until you move your mouse again,
and the same thing happens with the yt player on da.
Yess, I'm pretty certain its not the coding, as the box its self, is still there!! ;u;

Ahhh a similar thing happened to the ones on my page. It looks like a random background black bar, and I can't see the play button or anything anymore.
What do we do now lol? Is there a way we can fix it or maybe we must wait for CypherVisor to do a different coding where it doesn't happens anymore. >.<

I noticed it but don't know when it was. Otherwise that's odd, because just yesterday my youtube players were alright, so maybeee it is dA's changes, but not sure.
