You need to code the CSS of your gallery folder.
You can use the following code to change your gallery folder color:
body
{
background:#F5592F;
}
where F5592F is the hex color code of the color of your choice.

When I put it in the custom box, it's this short.
IT doesn't widen to the full width of the custom box.

Ofcourse it won't expand to the box width. If you want to expand it then just insert an image inside the box which has larger width than the content holder box.

Before I'm inserted it under the custom bg code, but above everything else it's small. Now, when I insert it above the custom bg code, it disappears. So, I have no idea how to fix it.

Well, not for me, at least. Instead, it's blank, and leaves a space where the bar should be. I have used in in my custom widgets without a background, and it still doesn't work.

Umm.. I guess then you are one of those deviants who faced the same issue. It is not a problem in mine.
Some of them got it working by install all the widgets in their page and then using this code. Try it out, it may work!

If it means everything, then that's a problem, since the prints portion would be blank (I have no prints)

I know if you go to the "edit page" part on your profile, and pick the "custom" thing, it won't show up. It did that to me, but when I went to my profile page, it came up fine. With the exception that it doesn't fit all the way across my custom box for some reason. It's just centered. :\

Yeah, it won't stretch to the whole box as there is padding in the box. It stops it from stretching to full width.
