Description
An Eccentric class starship (built for diplomatic and exploration missions) is performing a saucer separation to engage in diplomatic relations with a cautions species that prefers not to allow warp capable vessels within their system. To respect their views the drive section is left monitoring the situation from the outskirts, while the saucer section flies in in under impulse power, allowing full use of it's diplomatic suites and facilities (compared to sending just a shuttlepod).
