A 28th/29th century exploration cruiser. Built at the Andromeda outpost shipyard, these ships primarily operated in the Andromeda galaxy, with a few being assigned back to the Milky Way. They are equipped with mark 5 spiral induction/quantum cores and as such are capable of transwarp/slipstream. The hull is partially composed of a bio-synthetic living compound, giving impressive regenerative capabilities and providing protection from the Andromeda radiation field. This compound can also absorb incoming energy weapons fire, giving it impressive durability without shields. The ships have the latest Hyper-Impulse assemblies, with 2 standard tucked into the saucer and 2 compression variants on the pylon spikes. Pushed to it's limit, Hyper-Impulse could theoretically achieve and sustain 99.999% light speed, but the resultant time dilation makes this practically unusable.
