Description
The Muhandae (Korean for infinity) Class is a 480m long temporal research vessel from the 28th/29th century. Built as one of the first ship classes to conduct research into temporal anomalies and make temporal observations of the effects of different timelines. This class is equipped with advanced time/space sensors and a temporal deflector. It is capable of time travel via the use of a Temporal probability core and has a mark 5 combined quantum/spiral induction core for conventional transwarp/slipstream travel. The Temporal core has the odd effect of holding the ship in a state nicknamed "temporal grace" which keeps the ship outside the normal flow of time and also protects the occupants from most forms of harm (weapons do not work on the ship, as the probability of them failing or jamming is increased). The "temporal grace" has been theorised to allow the ship to enter a black hole, but it has yet to be tested.
