Description
A smudge tutorial I made, hope its helpfull, yeah, it is a bit odd how I started and how I changed it, sometimes this happens, the thing doesnt turn out how I like, this was me making a tutorial while working on the piece at the same time...Thus the transition all of a sudden, sorry if information is missing, if you have any questions, just send me a mssg, and I wil try and explain as best I can what I did.
Wil also share my PSD file, so that might be helpfull... ^^
DL links here:
First is the normal outcome (the entire piece of work)

Second is only the edited part (where I added the borders in)

I checked it just now, I think its a great tag, so no worries, I would say add a lightsource, as I said on the tag itself also...
I dont realy know what to tell you for tips on smudge, layer the smudge, work from big brushes to smaller ones for more detailes... try to make the smudge as round and curvey as possible, add highlights and shading to give more dept and wow... and that is prolly about all I can say....
Smudge just comes with practice, you improve from trying out things with it, dont confine yourself to one way of doing it lets say... you can go coloured bg and add black, or black bg, adding colours... its up to you wich you choose Β to use and how you wish to progress in it....Β
Hope that helps, if you want more tips or help or anything, dont hesitate to ask... here to help...
