Do or would you ever offer a tutorial on something like this? I have a vision with plants exploding and would like to learn how for a piece.Β

This is wicked cool. I can't believe this took you only two days. Brilliant and awe-inspiring.

Nicely done! Lighting and textures alike.
There seems to be a minor issue with the large planet's atmosphere in the bottom right corner (if it's a render, a non-matching sphere might be the cause), but I could be wrong?

thank you. Actually I'm not happy any more about the textures but it was all I could do at the time.
You are the first to notice that issue, you've got a good eye Unfortunatly I don't have the file anymore.

Well, yeah, that's a good point. I do a lot of eye-rolling at older works of mine. Mostly about how I ever thought that was acceptable; but that's the nice part about development, sometimes you catch yourself doing something and you think, "how did I learn this?!" Skills are always a WIP!

I wanted to delete my older stuff these days but I decided to keep them. It shows that I have made some progress since the early days. Tomorrow I'm going to upload my newest work that isn't just a quick shot, and I really hope it shows another step forward.

Usually every single project shows some progress. I find that I rarely finish something in less than a couple of days; mostly longer. Being a perfectionist doesn't help of course.

At work I've got 3d projects that may take months, so usually I'm quite happy to do something quick and dirty in a couple of hours when I am doing personal projects.

Very nice, would be good to see it at an easier viewing size though. (And if you are worried about losing clarity, just sharpen it once or twice to bring it back, you probably already know this though)
