I'm really enjoying working on this I look forward to the weekends because I can grab some daylight and paint! This is going to be the last WIP update until this little fella is finished. I've got the details on the head to do and then I'm going to work on the foreground shadows as they are too pale at the moment. These photos show three sessions - finishing the back, doing the leg and tweaking the leg/painting the head base. So far I've been doing the base and then moving straight onto the detail but as the head has lots of detail I'm going to take it a bit slower.

Between painting, I've been using metallic and ordinary coloured pencils to work on some of the edge fur detail - the silver didn't work out as planned (the pencil looks more grey than metallic once drawn onto this) but it's been interesting to see how the pencil works with the paint, even if it's not that noticeable. You might be able to spot where I've reworked his shoulder between these two shots and his back between my last upload and this one. Again there are variances in the colour balance but I'm reserving accuracy for the final photo I was going to finish my WIP uploads before I painted the head, so that's a little Brucie Bonus for you all. Enjoy it!
