A tutorial, but an excellent one at that. Dramatic poses are great for illustrating a thrilling event in a story. If someone doesn't know how to make them, I'd tell them to check out this. It makes for a very fantastic piece of artwork and many call this picture "Amazing" or "Epic". Having a reference is a great way to start off any picture. I believe you have a magic touch for drawing, and this deviation is no exception. It seems like you have had a lot of practice, and teaching new artists is a great way to help them become better artists.

"Take reference from real life"
This is great advice for anyone that has anything to do with Art
I was told once that practicing with Realism isn't mandatory; That is a Lie.
And if anybody tells anyone such a thing, they're lying.
It's mandatory. Especially if you're actually serious about drawing.
Good Tutorial you have here~

Cant stand drawing things unless it's clean and finished in the first go. Taking a look over this will likely help me out.

As the people in the critiques said, this tutorial is really good.
I can't really put my finger on why, it's something to do with the fact that it's not an overwhelming picture you drew, somehow you added an important step even though you did the same steps I've seen in other tutorials.
O_O
I'm confusing myself. Good job on the tut, and keep up the good work

This tutorial is very similar in process to what I do when I draw people from a reference, with one tiny difference. I usually do a rough of the underlying bone and musculature in step number 2. This is just great the way it is though!

Great I've actually done this reference thing before, Only a few times just to get the general look of say a hand in a certain position or from different angles. Thanks
