Description During the Age of Glory, the newly-evolved Felinian people were prejudiced and persecuted by their human neighbors. During the Age of Chaos, they were preyed upon by raiders and savage Kanids. And during the Age of Conquest, they were hunted and slaughtered by the religious crusaders of the Romek Legions. History has not been kind to the Felinian race, and their kind have been subjected to great cruelty from several different forces. But now, after untold centuries of terror and hardship, they have been pushed too far. The scattered mobs and gangs have left their urban slums, and united into the first Felinian military force. Migrant laborers have traded their tools for weapons. Street-dwelling thugs have donned proud new uniforms. The legendary criminal empires of the Felinian Mobs have banded together under a single banner... one bearing the bright red star-and-paw of the Karzian Army.

Left to Right:
(Note: these refer to general characteristics which do not apply to all or even most Felinian individuals)

Civilian Male: typically shorter and more muscular than the females, with blunter features and a thicker, more durable frame. They have tremendous strength, pain tolerance, and muscle control. They often make for very capable laborers, drivers, and brawlers. Typical weapons include spiked knuckles, hunting knives, hatchets, machetes, chainsaws, high-caliber handguns, submachine guns, and, a personal favorite, sawed-off shotguns.

Civilian Female: typically taller, lighter, and more agile than the males, with sharper features and very long, flexible limbs. They travel with incredible speed and can leap and climb over large obstacles with ease. They regularly make for superb scouts, pilots, and snipers. Typical weapons include fillet knives, daggers, sabers, hacksaws, silent pistols, harpoon guns, sniper rifles, and, of course, explosives.

Warrior (Bruiser): rugged, trench-running soldiers who ravage the enemy's front lines with grenades and machine-gun fire, or attack at close range with knives, hatchets, or machetes. Bruisers make terrifying assault troops, with excellent physical ability and a cunning predatory intelligence that strike fear into the hearts of their enemies. They often attack in large mobs, charging through the blasted battlegrounds toward the enemy in savage fury.

Standard Bruiser Equipment:
- AK-250 Assault Rifle with attached scope and grenade launcher. Can also be used as short-range sniper rifle.
- Grenades: fragmentation, smoke, or magnetic. Can be lobbed or launched with rifle.
- 9-to-10mm handgun: often uses same ammunition as rifle.
- Melee Weapon of Choice: combat knife, machete, hatchet, etc.

Special Equipment:
- RMB-120 Combat Shotgun: pump-action, tube-fed, 8-round magazine of 12-gauge shotgun shells.
- RPG Launcher: fires high-explosive, armor-piercing, and electro-magnetic seeking rockets.
- PKV heavy machine gun: fires .50 caliber rounds at speeds up to 1,000 RPM.
- Land-Mines: for battlefields roads, buildings, etc. Can be equipped with shrapnel or EMP charges.

Warrior (Prowler): elusive, flanking soldiers who devastate the enemy's troop ranks from a distance with sniper fire and rockets, or assassinate unwary victims with silent pistols, swords, or bayonets. They often move alone or in small groups with some bruisers or other prowlers, picking off leading officers or important vehicles before they can even reach the front lines.

Each prowler is an unbelievably capable sniper. They can make incredible offhand shots in rapid sequence, taking down squads of soldiers before they can find cover.

Standard Prowler Equipment:
- SVD 'Dragunova' Sniper Rifle with enhanced scope and bayonet.
- Advanced smoke-screen grenade with magnetically-adhering powder (blinds Mekka sensors).
- 7mm handgun with silencer.
- Melee weapon of choice (typically saber with very sharp blade)

Special Equipment:
- PTRP Anti-Tank Rifle: fires 20mm armor-piercing rounds with high-explosive payloads.
- Long-Range Rocket Launcher: fires explosive, incendiary, or magnetic-seeking rockets.
- Sabotage Explosives: small charges useful for opening doors, destroying vehicles, etc.
- Demolition Explosives: larger charges useful for demolishing buildings, gateways, bridges, etc.

------

Yeah, just more hyperevolved Feline killers from me - this time with Soviet-inspired battle gear! (...did I forget to mention the Felinians resemble Slavs in accent and culture? The reason for this similarity remains unknown...)

Thank you so much for the praise! I don't know if I deserve it, but I'm still very flattered. You can certainly send me a request in a note any time - I don't require any payment or anything at this point, just be sure to tell me exactly what you'd like before I draw it.

I'm thoroughly impressed with this, and that's coming from a guy who doesn't normally go in for the anthro genre! You've struck a great balance between realism and stylisation, paid plenty of attention to detail, and conveyed a lot of character. The outfits and weapons are well rendered and believable too.

I picked up on the Soviet influence of the soldiers straight away, and the Maulers' tactics sound very like those of the Soviets in the early 40's. Some of the weapons described (AK, Dragunova) are a clear tribute to icons that came a bit later!

I've always been fascinated with the idea of humans coexisting with other intelligent species and am looking forward to more of this. Can we expect some Kanids soon?

So glad to see how impressed you are! I'm wary of the anthro world, but I just couldn't resist the idea of Russian cats running around in full Soviet battle gear. I tried to utilize realistic details (e.g. military boots w/cutoff toes and fingerless gloves so they can use their claws for climbing), and I'm very glad that came across well enough.

...and yes, I should have some Kanid works ready soon - hopefully along with the Romeks as well.
