Hmm, i'm a bit confused how you drew all the rewards in their hands... this is all done traditionally and i can definately understand that most of the image is copied, but how did you draw different stuff in the hands of the dragon, because it also looks traditional? Did you take a separate piece of paper where you drew the items and then pasted those in the hands of all those furies?

Oh, that's easy, my friend. I've just scanned my basic drawing and print it one more time in ten versions with cleaned in Paint empty area between paws of Night Fury statue, and then I've just draw this all attributes in this empty places. Then I've scanned this ten small drawings and put them exactly into this same place at the main drawing. That's how I have made ten drawing from one. All have been colored in Photoshop. And that's all, my friend. A lot of hard work but I'm really satisfied from the effect.

No problem. And yea... most of people here think like that, but it was just easier for me... and quicker. You know... But the next art will be totally traditional.

A question? How should that work?
I mean, how will you find out who have the best nightfury desing or art style?

I've made only a staues: contest has been made by Volt-The-Nightfury. And there was a voting for the winner in each category. Next voting in next year, cause it works just like movie Oscars Awards.

We've already had the NFOs. People submitted their art, and other deviants voted for them. So, we already have "found out" ;D

This is totally great! How you did that? I mean, did you made every thing they hold separately and then photoshoped it to statue? or how?

Ah, what am I thinking, I wouldn't win....

I've just scanned my basic traditional drawing and print it one more time in ten versions with cleaned in Paint empty areas between paws of Night Fury statue in shape of the thing which it would have. Then I've just draw this all attributes in this empty places by pencil. After that, I've scanned this ten small drawings and put them exactly into this same place at the main drawing. That's how I have made ten drawing from one. All have been colored in Photoshop. And that's all, my friend.
Everyone could join in three categories. Maybe next time you will win as a "best style artist". Who know?

Thank you, my friend. I'm glad that you like it. You know: I think that it would be better idea to give each statue to the winner via e-mail and then, when it will belongs to that person, he/she could show it at their's profile - statue with his/her name on it. What you think?

Oh, so you mean you could give them uploading privileges? Sure, I guess that could work too!

I think that it would be fair - the "statue" belongs to NFO, the picture of "statue" belongs to me, but each statue with name of the winer should belong to that person. I'm sure that they all would like to show theirs awards on DA too!

Volt-The-Nightfury In reply to DanGref [2014-11-03 15:45:10 +0000 UTC]
Of course, yeah! That makes sense, the statue does "belong" to them, in a sense that they won the award. So yeah, of course. Now I get it. The picture belongs to you, but the statue in that picture belongs to them ^.=.^

I will ask winers for theirs private e-mails and send theirs statues directly to the winers. I will tell them that for now statues with theirs names belongs to them and they can show them on DA; they even should do this. I think that it would be OK. I start to write names on statues...
