Description
A very personal piece that was supposed to be a catharsis for all I went through in the past couple years, health-wise.I have been meaning to paint this for a while now but it was a prompt from AngelGanev 's discord, that prompted me to do it, at last.
I switched up my usual process, using the approach recommended by MarcBrunet and tbh it worked much better than I expected, especially considering our different styles.

Thank you for the kind words, Ed. I'm actually really proud with how expressive it came out, though my mind is already jumping in defense and detaching from it. I can imagine you can probably relate yourself. I'm amazed at how vivacious and empathetic you are despite all your trials.

She does a great job of dealing with it though. At least with me she is always like a ray of sunshine. I often wonder about how she actually feels about your limitations together, it must be a nightmare given how much you two love each other. My heart always goes out to you that you can enjoy your life together more completely soon.

I'm always happy when I get to talk to her, too. It always feels like something is missing from my day when I don't get to do that. If there is one good thing in both our crazy schedules and time difference, is that we get regular windows to catch up with each other.
I can only imagine what kind of strain both of your health problems put on your relationship. I've told her before that I find it incredible how you still support each other so much and are still so close. We had quite a bit of friction when I got my diagnosis, just bcs I was in my head so much and always worrying and he couldn't help me. But you still seem to bring each other so much joy. Not just each other but other people, too, myself included.
Did you manage to smoothe things out in the end?
