A waterdrop on the eye of a firefly...quite poetic, don't you think?Equipment used:
Canon EOS 70D
Sigma MP-E 65mm Macro 1-5x
Speedlite 580 EXII

I live near a marshland where you can find millions of fascinating critters. Early in the morning it's still too cold for insects to move around. So I searched for them and was lucky, because I found one in a good position with no wind at all.
The drop is morning dew, it was a gigantic firefly and I used a special makro-lense for this one.

Oh wow!! That is really fascinating! Especially the plain idea of capturing a waterdrop on a fireflies eye haha
