Description Step 2: more details, nothing really finished, just plot out what you think might look good. Rust, cracks, dirt, etc.

Now for some technical stuff.
---------------------------------------- -------
You need to edit your brush in order to get it exactly the way you want it.

so go to your tool box and select the brush tool that I highlighted in red on there.

Now you have access to the brush options on the top right of the menu bar. Go to the brushes tab and click on it.

a ton of options will be at your command now. Be sure to(if you want to):

-lower the spacing to 1%

-change the hardness of the brush to your liking. You don't need to start at 100% hardness, try to start off soft and then work your way to the hard level when you need it for sharp details.

-Also be sure to check "Other dynamics" in order to use your pressure sensitive Wacom(or some other brand ) tablet.

-last, be sure to play with the opacity to the left on the top menu bar. Don't start off to low like 8%, you'll go no where fast. Be more confident in your strokes, and if your not then don't worry, make a ton of misstakes to learn from.

no not all the time, some times I'll have it set to something more soft. Something medium.

I was just wondering.. How do you get the swirly and fading brush? Do you need a tablet to accomplish that?

A mouse just doesn't really cut it, you need a pressure sensitive tablet. to get that effect. They are expensive so save up. I bought mine for 500 but it's 9 by 12. there are smaller ones but I that's the size that I wanted. I believe that the options for pressure don't show up until you have the ability to use it. So yeah, you're going to need a tablet for it.

No problem. As soon as I get my website up online, you can find more tutorials on there in the tutorial section. But I'm working my ass off right now from Oct to Dec so I wont have time to work on the website until then.
