aerial for WindowBlinds* UPDATED: June, 14, 2006
- Changed the menu item and menu extra contents (arrows, check symbols…)
to fix compatibility issues with the latest WindowBlinds update.
- IMPORTANT: Please unload (if loaded) and delete your old copy of aerial skin
before install this new one or the update can fail.

- Fixed painting problem (magic pink in the top left corner) that show in the
borders of child windows in some programs.

* aerial comes with 6 sub-styles, 4 for WindowBlinds 5 or newer
and 2 for WindowBlinds 4.x
1 - aerial and aerial Compact: full feature styles with all features,
normal and compact stat panel, per-pixel, borders with drop shadows,
Per-pixel "Please Wait", "Turn Off" and "Log Off” dialogs, title bar buttons
glows, custom UIFile's, full set of toolbar icons, shell background image,
task panels, start button animation progress animations, progress bar
animation and more....
2 - aerial (No Shadow) and aerial Compact (No shadow): same features
of the main styles but drop shadows in the borders.
3 - aerial (WB 4.x) and aerial Compact (WB 4.x): have almost all the
features that the others styles but the per-pixel parts (for WindowBlinds4.x
users and people with video cards that don't support the per-pixel feature)

* The wallpapers are inside the package, browse the skin folder inside the
WindowBlinds directory after install it (the default place is
"C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds\aerial")

The best WB5 theme on the planet, 9.99999 out of 10. Only knock is the striped progress bar. I like the solid colors throughout. What the hell do I know! It was hard to switch from my previous favorite theme XPMC. XPMC is a very functional theme, meaning I can use it for hours at a time without being irritated by overdone transparency, the colors were pleasing and the fonts used in text didn't overrun buttons. Aerial is not only functional, it's frickin beautiful, meticulously crafted and bad-to-the-bone black!
Anyone have a suggestion for a complementary styler theme?

Progress bars are rendered wrong in Opera and Firefox. In Firefox, it's just black, but in Opera, it is really displayed wrong.

SpookyET: Firefox and Opera are hard coded and have build-in skinning engine.
Because of that, they ignore some WindowBlinds skin settings.
Firefox: the progress bar animation is a WindowBlinds glow effect that I tricked to make the
animation and Firefox can't reproduce the glow, only simple progress bars. (maybe can be done
if make a aerial skin for Firefox and use the Firefox skinning format to make it work like in the WB skin
Opera: Oera 9 is beta (for now) maybe they change something that fix it in the final release,
you can try to repport it to the Oepera developers too, other alternative would be make a aerial
skin for Opera (may not happen since I don't use the browser, sorry)

A worthy successor of the IFLEX skin. I can't imagine the work you've done to pull this off. This is AMAZING!

Very, very nice. I think iFlex is a bit better (probably because I like a lighter skin with more color), but this is still one of the best WindowBlinds skins ever. So far, I find it very usuable and stylish. I really like how, in all of your skins, usability seems to be your top priority when you create the design. A lot of people could (and should) learn from you.

when i installed the skin, the borders and taskbar were light grey....but your screenshot shows them in a darker color. i have the shareware for WB 5.01. how do i make them look darker
