Tech.45 VS for Windows XPThis is my first visual style and first attempt at any kind of application/interface skinning ever. I stopped working on it while I've been using Windows Vista, but some problems forced a format and reinstall and I'm back on Windows XP; so I blew the dust off this project, finished up the shellstyle and zipped it up ready to share with anyone interested.
The package is pretty bare-bones. No icons/wallpaper/extras apart from a couple of xp user icons (including a blank/template icon). By all means if you like my VS and find an icon set or a particular wallpaper which works really well then let me know.
Only the one colour scheme for the time being, sorry. A black variation may or may not see the light of day in the future!
View the readme file for a few extra details, but it's all pretty straightforward stuff I hope.

Any news on the update? Or are you back on Vista?
I tried to fix the bug in the shellstyle (taskbullet.gif still from luna) myself, but I had no idea what draw that would fit.

if you planning an update, could you add some button-hovering, or a font option a bit larger ??

I got 2 unused slots for fonts at the moment, what would you prefer to see; larger tahoma options or a couple of different, slightly bigger looking fonts like Arial, Lucida Grande etc?

I also like Swiss 721 bold condensed (normal or all-caps)...

I like this style a lot, but could you consider adding a language bar support to it? Make taskbar 2 px thicker for example...

One flaw I found, when window is set to full, restore down button has two circles.

You're the 2nd person to mention that. I designed it that way to differentiate the restore down button from the regular 3. It took the first guy pointing it out as a "bug" before I realised it doesn't need any special treatment and can just keep the same style as the other buttons.
You'll be happy to know it's already on the list of changes to make in the first update.
