Description Finally, a meme I decided to do? Well, I'm going to dive right into it. Just keep in mind, I might not draw a whole lot--but that is due to the fact that I lack the skill to draw everything that rolls around in my brain pan. I usually get more of my influenced material out in the form of writing, but even that can only contain so much. So, here we go.

Battlestar Galactica - What can I say? I knew about the original series when I was younger but never watched it. Reimagined series came out and I was nearly immediately hooked to it. I've always been fascinated by military conflict of nearly any degree, but this show took that and grouped it up with intense character development and a mind-numbingly awesome storyline that I find difficult to match in my own writing, but I always try to.

The Foxes of First Dark - Before this book I wasn't so terribly much of a reader. I stumbled upon it by chance and became so enthralled and engaged that I couldn't put it down and wanted to continue reading other stories as well. This book will always be a large part of who I am because of it's eye opening affect. It also was the first book I decided to read in order to get a grasp on the way other authors write, for I've a novel in the works. I wanted to do it right so I wanted to get a better look at how some of the pros work.

Steve Irwin - What can I say? The guy is amazing, every animal lover knows this man and I don't think I can say anything here that'll do him or his name justice. The fact that he still inspires movements today, such as Whale Wars' Sea Shepherd is a testament to this man's outstanding reputation as an animal rights activist. Rest in peace, Stevo.

The Sight - I read this book shortly after Foxes of First Dark and though it went into a realm I usually try to avoid (magic and weird stuff like that), I adored it nearly as much as I did First Dark. I know many of you have read it already and know it's worth, but if you haven't, do yourself a favor, put down your Nintendo DS or whatever and give it a read. I doubt you'll regret it.

A Black Fox Running - This book was an inspiration for the creation of one of my characters in particular, but to me it was much more than that. The writing style was very unusual and simplistic compared to my own and that I've seen from other writers and it gave me a look at writing styles in general sort of in the same light that one would view a drawing style. There is no real wrong way to write and everyone should strive for their own unique style. I'm working on that now. Though the book did have a couple of minor flaws, it was an amazing read and I recommend it.

Ace Combat Zero - I remember playing this game before I "left the nest" so to speak. It was the last game I played while under my mother's roof so it has some significance for that reason, but it also had one of the most amazing soundtracks and atmospheres of any game I've played. Again, this relates to my interest in war/military engagements, so I doubt it'll give (m)any of you the emotional high it gave me, but the game, though shorter than the game it came after (Ace Combat 5), was extremely inspiring and gave me plenty of concepts and ideas on how to approach some of my own writing/story telling. This game will always have a place in my heart.

xAshleyMx - This artist in particular is a given as far as my influences go. She's extremely dedicated to the pursuit of her artistic goals and has a lot of integrity when it comes to it as well. She's a great person and battles it out against dozens of people on a seemingly daily basis who only have one objective: to try to put her down and piss her off. Unlike so many artists, she doesn't let it get to her and she keeps on doing what she loves. The fact that she's maintained and improved her own unique style for so long is a feat by itself that inspires me regularly. If it weren't for her I wouldn't be doing what little drawing I actually do today.

Oha - Oha is not only a great artist but a very sweet, caring individual on top of it. We don't talk quite as much as we used to, but I do like to revisit the conversations we've had in the past when I'm feeling a bit blue or what have you. It's friendly people like her that make the world a place worth living and she always seems to put a smile on my face whether I see her recently uploaded art or receive a friendly little note from her on occasion.

Area 88 - Yeah, I know, more air combat stuff? Well, this was one of my first animes I ever really got into and it was so interesting I've even checked out more anime since then! OMGosh, rite? In a nutshell it's an inspiring war story/love story combo, something I'm a sucker for. Mind fuckery and betrayal awaits!

Walt Disney Studios - Yeah, yeah, Disney movies are a guilty pleasure of mine, so sue me.

Ginga Nagareboshi Gin - Another anime that I ended up checking out after Area 88. Some friends of mine had seen it (and Weedo) so I decided to give it a try. I love things from the 80s (my era ), and animation out of the 80s just has a certain charm to it that is lacking in more modern day animations. The story wasn't too bad, somewhat cliche in parts, but the cast was unforgettable for the most part. It was a direct result of the creation of several of my current chars.

Charles Darwin - Another obvious. This man went up against society's normal way of thinking in a time when that sort of thing was frowned upon, and set out to explore the world and the animals within it. He's most interesting to me in regards to the Falkland Islands and the animals (particularly the Warrah) that resided there. I love this man and pretty much everything he stood for and set out to accomplish.

Yukikaze - Another anime with combat/aircraft. This one was set in the future and involved aliens and--well, it was a bit unusual for my taste, but I still got some enjoyment out of it. I can't say too much about it because unfortunately I have yet to complete the short series. Sinner, I know D:

Angel - The character that ultimately resulted in my interest in fur and all things cute and feral in the form of animated drawings. Though the movie she came from wasn't great, she sort of emulates in personality and spirit the kind of female character I enjoy writing about or reading about. She's not a Mary Sue like most "tough street trained tom boy" types and that's another reason to give her some credit. Several of my characters have a little Angel in them to some degree or another.

Chromehounds - The $9.86 game that gave me endless hours of joy and entertainment. I originally purchased my X360 for Ace Combat 6. I paid $70 for that game the day it came out and logged 8.6 hours on it. Chromehounds I bought at the time I purchased my 360 since AC6 had a while to come out yet and I logged somewhere between 580 - 600 hours playing it. I effectively paid less than 2 cents/hour of entertainment with it. Interesting, eh? The game was extremely under appreciated. The storyline was unique and engaging for something that's designed to be "filled in" by 1000s of people playing online, but it has inspired me to think about some of my own "war" scenarios in writing and I'll never forget you Chromehounds. The servers were taken down permanently at the beginning of the year.

Nameless Balto 2 Fox - Known as Rusé to me, she was effectively the closest I got to making my own "original" character before actually doing so. She had a minimal role in the movie (which was subpar to begin with) and I'm not inspired by her because of that role, but because of the fact that she's sort of the "missing link" between my writing about other peoples characters and writing about my own characters. I've yet to make a more original version/design of her due to my lack of artistic talent.

Sitting Bull - I've always been inspired by Native American teachings, legends, stories, the way of thinking, and their belief systems in general. My mother and several other members of my family adored them for these same reasons and it has rubbed off on me. I chose Sitting Bull to be my symbol of inspiration for Native American beliefs/stories in general, so yeah.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly - I like westerns. Another guilty pleasure of mine. Anything western is sort of something of a mysterious thought that comes to me now and then, sort of the old school: "what if I lived back then" type scenarios. In any case, I love westerns and they tend to creep into some of my stories in subtle forms so they deserve mention.

Sun Tzu's Art of War - I wouldn't be a true war geek if I didn't get anything out of Sun Tzu's Art of War, right? Though massively dated, the "book" is still used today to train business men and stuff like that. I'm not too interested in that sort of thing, but there is a lot of hard knowledge to be had in the book and it does at least for a moment shape your thinking process. It's difficult to read for those accustomed to a normal prose format, but yeah, it's a good read in general.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms - There is something about this series, the books, the games, etc, that has always intrigued me. I think most "conflicts" in stories really benefit from having a sort of 1 vs 1 vs 1 scenario rather than a 1 vs 1 plot. If the story approaches all three sides like The Three Kingdoms does, you get a very well developed character base and it allows your readers to develop favorite characters and the like in a way that most stories cannot. Ginga also had this going for it in general due to the massive character cast. If you try to remember all of the "Romance" characters, you're in for some serious studying. The character list for these books/games puts my character list to shame.

Couldn't fit Firefly the TV series on there or a few other things, but you get the idea.

So there you have it. Enough writing for me for the day.

I'm glad you like it and it's good to hear from you ^^ I'm sure you've got plenty of stuff going on lately, I know how that is and can relate xP I definitely agree with you too about having people like so on deviantArt. Lately I've been seeing a lot of different people that seem to only be on here to put others down and be jerks in general. Stuff like that makes me lose faith in a lot of things, but like you said, it's good to have good people on dA :3

I'm also glad you liked some of the content too xD tFoFD is amazing and I really need to read it again sometime. But again, thanks for the sweet comment and being such a good friend after all these years Means a lot to me, it does
