Description 'Bout time I made one of these (well, I've made one before, but it was like a year ago). Some people were asking about how I did style 2 and 3, so I was all like "yo yo mofoz, darkz in da hi-zouse, here fo' yo emoting needs foo'". Then I imploded for saying such a retarded sentence.

Please ignore the typos. D: I KNOW THEY"RE THERE....TAUNTING ME O_O

BY THE WAY.... here's a tutorial on the very simple basics [link] if you don't know how to use programs or something

This is really helpful and I'd like to save it for off-line use but I can't save it? I just get blank.png?

yeah, I'm not sure why it's doing that. Someone else wanted it to and it did the same thing. So here it is in a zip [link]

Thanks for making this! I've looked at it several times and thought, "Yeah, I want to try making emoticons." And finally, since I had some free time, I did. So far I've made two static ones in the first and second style.

any graphics program will work, I personally use Ulead Gif Animator 5 for all my emoticons though.

Ooer. Nice way to run through it. Different way of explaining things might help people, as it's easy to follow.

I'm particularly impressed by the third shading, as it really looks nice and clean. The second one is a bit dark for me though.
