Darkwing Duck - String DollPhew! Finished it. See, Pim...I told you if i went to sleep i'd miss your birthday for your timezone. But i did what you said, and I did. LOL. Oh well, it's still your Birthday in mine. So happy birthday!

This is frickin' amazing. I simply love what you did with her face and pose. I really do like your style. It's so wacky and original. The way you capture characters is great and no doubt you did an awesome job with her. And the coloring only adds to it. Love it.

Really nice composition on this. I love the use of paint splatter for the magical effects too, it looks really fun and unique. Out of curiosity, how did you create that background?

Layers. lots and lots of layers. I used the grass paint brush and had its opacity down. and on each layer I picked colors i thought would work. Then I used the burn tool on some parts, and the dodge tool on others. the you can merge a few of the layers, and then blur some parts and sharpen others.
So really...i made up crap as i went XD

I like it a lot xD Its strange to see the magic looking like color Splashes now that i had in ma head that linean magic done by flash with the "My little pony" XDDD

The colors were picked for my love of connecting SD with New Orleans' Hoo Doo. Back when I was helping pim out with SD's bio, I always thought all those purple and green neons really brought out the surreal feel to her magic. And that she needed to be connected with something so colorful.
