Penguins of Madagascar - Dr Blowhole and Kowalski
I am sensing a pattern with the things I draw...HMM.
That said, another screenshot redraw. This time from "The Return of the Revenge of Dr. Blowhole". I feel like this makes up for the fact I failed badly with my last one. So here you go, and enjoy!

I use sumopaint, a free online program. Mostly because i'm cheap, but also because I'm not that bright with softwares. It's easy to use, and best of all...like I said, FREE!

Its great to see another scene in your style. It looks like its fun for you? You've done dr. blowhole very well. In your image he looks more happy than in he really is when they are sinning. I like the background too.

Thaaank you! And yes, these are VERY fun for me; also great practice over all. While I colored Blowhole in the one comic that FlytrapDog Β did, I never actually drew him before. And I have a comic idea of my own that I want to use him in, so I'll probably need to do a little more practice.Β
And lol. Yeees, I think my Blowhole does look a little happier too. I guess that's because I always imagined he was VERY happy to get another chance to explain things--which he seems like both he and Kowalski enjoy doing-- as well as the fact Blowhole is also annoying the penguin in the process. He seems to REALLY enjoying ruffling his feathers. At least, that's how I always interpreted the scene.Β

...I just realized I used an idiom that probably doesn't translate well into another language. Oops. I'm sorry. Let me try and explain. I'm not sure what the equivalent would be in your language, but "ruffling one's feathers" doesn't mean to literally ruffle or pet feathers. It means to bother them, or annoy them. It's very similar to another english idiom "getting under one's skin". In that case it doesn't mean to literally put on a person suit, but it means to bother someone so much that it gets them worked up more than it probably should. That what the person is saying or doing bothers them, and that the person doing it is most likely saying/doing things just to trigger a reaction out of them.
So, when I say Blowhole is ruffling Kowalski's feathers...I mean that he's doing it to upset him.
THOUGH, that said...i really laughed at the idea of Blowhole just picking up Kowalski and just petting him like a kitten. XD
As for the video clip...That's actually really close to Neil Patrick Harris' voice. Impressive! They really captured the inflections of his acting.

Well. It's nice that you liked the idea with petting Kowalski. His feathers probably really would be nice to blowholes sensitive skin and his happy expression is just begging to say that. xD
I heard kowalski's voice in several languages. and honestly for my ears the English one and the polish one are the best. The German one wasn't good and the Japanese was too strange too. Not because I didn't understand what they were saying. It just didn't sound so good as the other two that I like. and I'm glad that you like the polish Kowalski. Skipper's polish voice is also very good in my opinion. So manly and that fit's to him so much.Β Β

I'm glad I can help you out! It must be very confusing to try and talk to other fans in another language that isn't your native tongue. I sympathize! And I think you've been doing a great job. If i DO ever say anything that seems random or confusing, just ask me about it. Chances are, I was just using an idiom again. (That, or I was just being a weirdo at the time. I won't lie, I CAN be very random.)

Your right. It's actually very confusing some times.. I often need to use a dictionary to check the spelling of words. or meanings that I didn't saw earlier. But i often understand what people are saying. It's worse with proper spelling in my case xD So it's a big English lesson for me here. But its good actually because I've finished school so here is the only place to learn basically. It's a different thing than it was in school, to read words of someone who uses this language every day like i use Polish.

I know what you mean. I am like that with Spanish, actually. While in school I had such a difficult time, I actually picked up the language more from being on the site. From phrases being repeated, from using context clues, an so on. Though, I also get confused when people misspell stuff. XD
I actually tried looking up Japanese Kowalski and couldn't find any videos for im. Do you have a link? I kind of want to hear and see what you're talking about. Judge for myself.Β

I've never heard Japanese kowalski sinning but I heard a part of an episode where penguins talk in Japanese. I had a long discussion with about PoM voices in other languages. It was the first time when I started to show the polish voices to others. The Japanese one should be there.Β
