A self portrait :3 Took about 2 Hours. Done entirely in Paint Tool SAI with my handy dandy Wacom Intuos 4. It's been AGES since I did one of these - it's based off a photo of myself (used for an avatar not that long ago actually...) completely with my current dyed hair color. lol <3 This is the actual size it was painted at.(c) =DarlingMionette
Why is it upside down?: Cause I wanted to do something different :3

EDIT: Fixed certain aspects of her face to make it less lopsided/asthetically weird when right-side-up. Mouth, nose, eyebrows, eyes, eyeshines, chin, and jawline were moved/adjusted/repainted etc.

Teehee, I got a tablet. And now my mom is letting me buy SAI. You'll have to teach how you make the heads, I tried and failed. I got s pretty good start, but I couldn't draw the eyes, nose and mouth.

well done! 2 hrs is very quick! i'm still learning how to gunge rendering efficiently.. you did such a great job w/ smoothing the rendering between transitional shadows! has my thumbs up!

XD agreed - it's very.. off when right side up due to the fact it was modelled after a photo i took of myself -_- so the perspective is a little wonky and it just doesn't work as well as upside down - hence why I flipped it :3
