A self portrait :3 Took about 2 Hours. Done entirely in Paint Tool SAI with my handy dandy Wacom Intuos 4. It's been AGES since I did one of these - it's based off a photo of myself (used for an avatar not that long ago actually...) completely with my current dyed hair color. lol <3 This is the actual size it was painted at.(c) =DarlingMionette
Why is it upside down?: Cause I wanted to do something different :3

EDIT: Fixed certain aspects of her face to make it less lopsided/asthetically weird when right-side-up. Mouth, nose, eyebrows, eyes, eyeshines, chin, and jawline were moved/adjusted/repainted etc.

It's always good to flip, turn and rotate pics around to see that it looks good from all angles. Eyes are so important. I almost always start rendering the eyes. If I can't gett them right I might as well scrap the whole portrait.

XD yah I always do that :3 but sometimes i just sort of flail and go "wtf.. how do i fix this" and it takes me awhile to conquer something that really bugs me :3 eye's are like usually the last thing I work on -_- skin first. lol

Eyes is usually something that people focus on so it's always a good idea to make them spectacular and believable.

Her soft eyes are definitely like forget-me-nots. There's a very soft haze of focus on them, and her hair color nicely contrasts the skin tone. Good job!

I particularly like the eyes' shape and coloration, but my favorite part is undoubtedly the hair. I like its texture and its color - nice and silky. ^^
