I have listened to that song about twenty times since I got the cast recording, and I cry every single time. It's just sooooooo amazing. The part that gets me is when Marius sings, "I'll stay with you 'til you are sleeping..." Aaaaaaanyway, really love this. It's adorable and cute and sad all at once.

btw, which recording do you have? my favorite ones are the concert recording, the symphonic recording and the broadway cast... they all have their pros and cons...

I've got the London one, which is great. I love Cockney accents. I listened to a little bit of... it was either the B'way or the symphonic, but I definitely don't like what they did to Grantaire during "Red and Black," where his voice is all gravelly and awful. I like sweet, romantic Grantaire. (The drunk one, in case you don't know...) And really, I don't think anyone can beat Colm Wilkinson and Frances Rufelle in their roles. And they're both in the London cast.

Aww - I've met him - He's a lovely LOVELY guy and was really interested in the fact that we had come all the way from Ireland just to see him! It was funny cause after he gave us his autograph and spent a good 20 minutes talking to us - he was getting ready to go (on his HOTT Harley) but he couldn't find his Ipod, so he just asks us if we would mind his bag! I was stunned but honestly such a lovely gracious man! I think he said that he would be doing Phantom for at least another year at any rate.

You can't miss it - its just down the street to the right of the building and has a sign with a hand with its index finger pointing inward (upon which is written 'STAGE DOOR'
If I can recommend a particular area in which to sit, I would suggest Row D or E in the Stalls. That's just under where the chandelire drops (the front row is only advisable if you wish to have the top of your head skinned during said scene! XD ), and you can virtually see EVERYTHING on the stage. I sat there last time and wow it was just amazing!
Hey, who knows! I might even see you there cause I will be in London for a week during June or July next myself. It's become a sort of tradition for me...
