Les Mis!
I mean, Footloose would be fun, especially if you're big into dancing. But if you like singing and like focusing on the story of a musical, then Les Mis is definitely the better. I guarantee that if you do Footloose you'll have a blast, but if you do Les Mis you'll have fun AND feel like you were in something bigger than life!

Yeah, playing Eponine is an emotionally demanding role. If you get it, I would suggest preparing yourself for an emotional ride!!! I couldn't "get over" Marius for at least a few months. (not the actor. Well, things got a bit mixed up for those months, but no. Marius. Not the actor.

The 2000 French Mini series is actually quite good (though it's hard to find.) That one actually has eponine in it! ha ha.

Okay, I FINALLY! found my Les Mis soundtrack while cleaning the other day, and now I do believe I've thoroughly annoyed my roommate by playing it nonstop. I love this song <3 It's so sad. I've also decided I need to get my butt out and see a professional production. I know I'm going to be in the UK in the last week of January, so I'm hoping to score some tickets for the touring JOJ/Earl Carpenter production. I would die! Just wanted to thank you for the spark of inspiration
Aaaaanyway. This drawing. 'Tis wonderful. I adore Eponine's little smile, as if it's all okay now she's with Marius. I also love the background; it's very clean, but detailed. Same with the clothing. The one thing I would critique, if you don't mind, is Eponine's lower body. It's clear she's raised on Marius's lap, but her legs seem a bit... stiff? The position looks slightly awkward.
Still, it doesn't really matter to me! I love this.

JOJ and Earl Carpenter!!! I'd DIE too!! I saw Earl when I went to London but JOJ? GAH! I'd DIE if I saw him. Where is the tour going and how long is that lasting? Do you know? Because... I have relatives in town that go to England once a year and what if I could join them somehow if I saved up??

There's tour info on the official website [link] Just click the button in the corner. Personally, I hope to see when it goes to the Palace Theater in Manchester; that place is gorgeous. Best seat tickets for that show look to be about $50, so I can't imagine it would be much more in other places.
