Merry Christmas, deviantART friends, watchers, whoever you may be! This is a wonderful time of giving, recieving and loving, so I hope this finds you with family, friends as you celebrate Love coming down to earth. And THAT, my friends, is what excites me the most during Christmas time.
This was originally a card I made for a friend of mine, Caleb. He's got it sitting on his desk. He gave me the COOLEST gift for Christmas, and I'll have to post pictures of it later...
More art to come in the next few weeks... you guys rock my face off! Again, Merry Christmas!

Gosh, thanks! Glad you like it. Well, get to know me a bit, and I'm just bursting with love for Jesus. I guess I wouldn't consider it religion, though, because that stuff kills the soul. It's a relationship with the living God!! And I'm so excited for Easter.

Oh, how sweet of you. It's been fun chatting with you. I wish I could get on here as often as I did about a year ago, but Les Mis has pretty much swallowed up my life. Come this summer, I'll probably invade my account with tons of drawings!! Ha ha. Easter is wonderful-- I love going to my bursting-with-life church... there's never a boring service (especially on Easter!) I look forward to it all month.
Give up? Hmm. I'm afraid I forgot to give up something. Isn't that called lent? I've done it in the past, but it's slipped my mind this year... not like those commitments are so important that I should fret for my soul, but they can be life-changing sacrifices, when one fasts and prays. Fasting, in my mind, always brings me closer to God.

Thanks its nice to know you enjoy talking to me, this year I am getting my first communion and I am having confirmation so this year is big for me. Mass will be about 3 hours long or more for me so I am really excited about Easter.

Really? That's awesome! Do you get to look like a bride? That's fantastic. I bet you're beaming with excitement. Communion means so much. Christ's sacrifice, his love, his coming into our being, living in us... you could preach a sermon about it every week for the rest of your life!!

Oh it was BEAUTIFUL! Everything felt spiritual and perfect that day, the sermon was heartfelt. The choir sounded beautiful (and they played that bueatiful organ) one of my favorite singers in the choir sang that night and it was beautiful. She almost matched Christine (I said almost). We got to sing a lot as usual. IDK what is with me and singing (even though I can't sing at all) I try not to sing whenever POTO music is playing or when I'm watching it because then I ruin the music, and I hate that. I do hope we get to be best friends in the second life. You seem really interesting and kind, with beautiful taste in music/entertainment. To top my happiness I have the relief of knowing my gran already planned to take me to two of my favorite musicals ever.

Beautiful! (I love the organ, and choirs.) I think growing up with classical music influences one to slow down their busy lives and enjoy it. I'm glad that you appreciate that kind of stuff! Erik would KILL to attend a beautiful service at a church, in public like that!
You know? When I first tried singing PotO music I felt the same! I thought I stunk compared to everyone else. But then I practiced. And practiced. FOUR YEARS. And I've improved!... I'm still not an all-out soprano (I'm a mezzo) but I do a decent job!!
How old are you, if you don't mind my asking?

Oh yes Erik would definately kill to go.....That does NOT mean you choke someone with the punjab rope Erik. I am 14 years old. In heaven I hope I can sing beautifully that would be beautiful. A couple of my friends said I'm a wanna be because I am getting my hair dyed blonde and getting a perm..Just because I want my hair back to the usual color and I love ringlet hair does NOT mean I want to be just like Christine. If I wanted to be like her I would be upstairs singing all day and night and would be not on here but probably dancing and singing. I have dyed my hair too much and I am sick of that so yeah. #1 The Phantom of the Opera and #2 Wicked. OMG!

14!! See, you've got lots of potential, to at least sing well enough when you're in your later teens and early twenties. Starting at 13 - 18 is when your voice matures the most drastically for a girl. Practice! Do you know what kind of voice you have? Soprano? Alto? Mezzo Soprano?
I've never dyed my hair! Might be silly, but I figure that once I start I'll go crazy. So I'm keeping it natural for as long as I can. I have light brown hair. Wavy. I look a tad like Sarah Brightman, only less strange! ha ha. And not 50 years old...
Blonde is awesome! Why not? I think you should.
And Wicked is the perfect show to practice your singing with. My "belty" voice has gotten better and better and now I can almost sing the last part of Defying Gravity without using my head voice.
My second favorite musical is Les Mis. Have you heard it?

I don't know what kind of voice I have actually I should get that figured out. I am already getting the date for my hair day planned out...YES gonna be a blonde. I have heard of Les Mis seen a 1998 movie and it blew chunks in my opinion I am like isn't there supposed to be a messenger girl? Yes? No? what is going on I thought- But they sai- FINE! Then I am just going to read the fricken book. I am OFF TO THE LIBRARY!

Basically, if you have a really high voice (you tend to follow the highest melodies in songs) and can hit high notes, and don't like singing the guy voices real low, you're probably a soprano.
If you sing fairly low and can't hit any high notes for the life of you, and tend to imitate guy singers better, than you're probably an Alto.
Then if you're somewhere in between, and sing like Elphaba, then you're a mezzo!
Ok, Les Mis is good, but it's so much better than that film!! The book is long, but great, but the musical is the BEST. I play the character Eponine, who's the messenger girl.

I am most likely the Mezzo and I do want to read the book but my mom got a little irritated because I wouldn't read my other 3 series of books because I read R and J and then now reading Wuthering Heights but before I read POTO like a madman
