Well, I tell people I have a Phantom Heart (no pun intended), but this little bit of bitter sweetness just made me tear up a little! Adorably depressing, if that makes an sense.

I've actually read and own the original book. I've never seen the stage show, though. I was in New York once with my choir group and I saw the Majestic Theater, but unfortunatley I wasn't able to see the show because the group that was a year ahead of mine saw it. I'm currently reading the Susan Kay novel right now.

I read Susan Kay's... wasn't my favorite (I treat it as a fanfic) but some parts were good enough that it made me cry.

I LOVED THE BOOK!!!!!!!!!! It was amazing1 the last part made of the book also made me cry, but really it was more like bawling my eyes out. Why Erik?! Why did you have to die?! Now I know how Gir felt when he lost his piggy. I hope I get to see the show. Maybe, for my senior trip next year, I'll save up some money and take group of friends and go to New York. Next time I got to New York, I will get those tickets! I shall make it my mission to see the POTO Broadway show!
