kinda reminds me of the Zerg, or maybe the Tyranids. Very good!

A really like the concept of a living planet or creatures of giant sizes.

It reminds me of a line in The Chrysalids ([link] ) about mutant plant-like organisms covering the cliffs of the American East Coast after a nuclear holocaust.

Looks like a pretty crazy story. If they ever come out with a movie, I'll do my best to get on the design team.

I'm willing to bet there was a movie at some point. I'd like to see a graphic novel adaptation.

ah, so, might I ask, are these some form of colonies of alien 'polyps', coining together to creat a massive organism ( in which case I ind the mouth to be irrelevant), or is it simply a massive predatory life form that has strechd itself across a clifface?

either way, this is very well executed, and I rather like it!

Thank you Zypherax. I figured it could be multiple or a singular organism that created the cliff. It's more about how the viewer sees it.

Oh, wow...An entire planet as organism, perhaps? Or conversely, some sort of aggressively prolific organism that spreads out to blanket an entire planet...? I love those pseudopods in the distance, and that tiny human (?) figure in the foreground...What must life be like for the inhabitants of this world? Do they have a symbiotic relationship with the global organism, or are they in constant danger from it...? Fantastic work, in every sense of the word!

Thanks Thomas. Great questions! My best answer would be, sure, however you see it. This was another topic for the Daily Sketch Group at CA.Org challenging us to quickly draw biological cliffs. There's actually two figures on the ledge. Actually, it feels like I'm not putting enough thought into the stories behind the renderings like I used to. Thanks for the boost and imagination injection. Glad you like it.
