You could seriously mess up your computer, have all of your personal information and data compromised, or even get in trouble with the law if it spreads to other people.In 2001, Klez was unleashed onto the internet, depending on the version, it could either act as a normal virus, a worm, or a trojan. What's worse is that it can disable virus-scanning software and even pose as a virus-removing software. And since black hat hackers weren't satisfied, many if them reprogrammed it o make it even more destructive by looking through a target's contact list. This is an attack called spoofing, in which a message seems to have come from one source, but instead it originated from a fraudulent one. It's also know to cause spamming in order to fill the inbox with junk mail.
