Dumbo Cinnamon Veriberk Rex male with a white snip He has a notch in his left ear and is missing his left ring finger.
Friend is trapped in a psychological experiment that turned south when he lost his mind. He is still a brilliant character, and thus useful to his experimenters. He just went mad from being self aware that he was being tested, and border lined tortured for so long. He is a very twitchy, anxious, OCD, frustrated being.
He is also quickly becoming my favorite character.

Great sketches and character!! Being in a group that helps (ex) lab rats to get into new (normal) homes I have a few questions.
Is Friend used in a standard lab for testing? (Never seen a Rex there.) And do you have the standard breeds they use as characters?
Most of them are Albinos and we have trouble finding adoptants because everyone wants to have colourful rats.
(Which I can understand, though the colours mine had where always pure coincidence - got them from shelters.)
It would be so cool if more people could promote the (Unilever copyrighted) WISTARRAT, Long Evans, Dahl, etc...

The store actually had no humans in it so it was rats experimenting on rats. So yes Friend was used for lab testing, but it was not typical testing in human standards. They did medical experiments but the story centered around self awareness how animals evolve into being self aware.

OMG ITS A DUMBO! My rat Percy looks like this except he's a little bit whiter and isn't missing a toe. But he has a notch in his left ear!! (and he's a fancy not a dumbo)
