Well here we are... not that it really matches up to 's quality, but it's my take on his character and my half of our art trade. I really need to practice on realistic clothing...Tem drew Hydrex the Otter and a brilliant job he made of him! [link]
Anyway, Temiree poses in front of the famous Tapestry in the Great Hall of Redwall Abbey... and I bet Martin the Warrior wonders why everyone keeps trying to copy him!

Well, yeah... I guess I was kind of cheating there...
Adobe Photoshop has a "texturiser" effect where you can make it add a sort of canvas, burlap, or even brick texture to the selected area or layer. All I have to do is make sure it's not too severe that it distracts from the picture.

Nicely done. ^^ The textures are pretty good (especially the one of the tapestry, canvas texture?) and you got his sword down pretty well.

Well, the tapestry was mostly spruced up by the "burlap texture" effect that Photoshop was able to add, but yeah... I'm pretty pleased with how well it turned out!

Looks like you put a fair bit of work into this one
The shading and highlighting is well done, although Temiree's muzzle looks a bit odd (too big, maybe?) and his right arm doesn't look quite right anatomically. Definitely a very good piece over all, though

Perhaps the arm was shaded slightly wrong there... otters do have fairly large noses, though.

Yeah he spreads out Dan's fingers and then starts stabbing his sword inbetween the spaces. Going faster each time, hopefully not stabbing Dan's fingers by accident.LOL!

Thanks... yeah, the texture for the tapestry is one of Photoshop's. Sort of burlap effect, which rather fitted with the material along with the shading and colouring I used.
