I expect that by now fans old and new of the Sonic series will have heard the latest on the upcoming game "Sonic Forces"Apparently, the mystery third character is... whoever you want them to be - fully customisable!
At this stage I don't know how big the range of options will be, but... I'm intrigued. Could this mean that a Sonic-version of Danbuster could actually fight alongside Sonic to defeat Eggman? That could be rather fun!
I'm assuming that our options will include clothing as well as the possibility of gloves, shoes and other accessories... just because regular Sonic-males run around naked doesn't mean we all do that!
Though they probably wouldn't include kilts, so I figured it best to give Danbuster a pair of baggy shorts and roll up the sleeves of his jumper...
Here's hoping, if/when I'm able to get hold of this game, their options will allow me near-enough to recreate this design for Danbuster's projection on the Sonic world...

I've only been getting sneak-peeks of this "custom character" thing from freeze-frame moments in those trailers, but I really hope I can replicate this style of Danbuster as closely as possible...

Yeah there is a hare/rabbit option in the game so it might be possible to create a Danbuster character. If I ever get the game I would either try to create The Warrior version of Luke the Fox or his Dissected version. There is no Fox option but I can use the Wolf and change the colour. Love the traditional look here, gives it that classic look.

Heh indeed! Exactly what I was thinking when I saw "rabbit" was an option... though I couldn't help questioning... when they have a wolf, why not a fox? Or echidnas even...? Unless that's something for future DLC, I dunno...
I certainly hope they have options for male clothing that isn't just naked, too...

According to what's been revealed yet:
"Seven animal types will be featured in the game: you can play as a wolf, rabbit, cat, dog, bear, bird or hedgehog, each with their own varying abilities."
Rabbit is as close as we get to hare, it seems... so unfortunately, mustelids and rodents don't seem to be listed... unless further species and costumes might be released as a future DLC, of course...

I know. I may live on my own, but my mom basically keeps me on a leash. I'm trying to convince her to let me learn to drive again...she claims I don't need to because there are buses. She doesn't get it that the buses don't go everywhere and are NEVER on time. One was once two hours late. And if I want to go to vet school someday, I'm going to have to go to another city. I had to walk a mile to my volunteer position at a vet's office to the main location and another mile back to the bus stop..and the bus ride took at least two hours. I also have to walk half a mile to school. The other vets in the area refuse to take in volunteers and you need so many hours of experience working in an actual vet's office in order to be considered for vet school. Β My mom has never been very fond of the the idea of me being a veterinarian and I got more strife from her about it than anyone else. The closest vet school is in Columbus (although if I had a choice, I'd look into going to London's Royal Veterinary College)Β and I can't walk there or take the bus. My mom claims I could take a Greyhound but she's so paranoid about stuff like that, when the day came, I doubt she'd be supportive. I'd also have to learn Columbus' bus system. I was taking driving lessons for a while but my teacher got hurt and needed surgery. My mom says she said I wasn't doing so well and was just lying to me because she didn't want me to loose my confidence. My mom has NEVER wanted me to drive.
My mom was getting emotionally abusive when I was around 27 and I wanted to move out to get away from it but she wouldn't let me. She said I needed to be in a group home to learn to be independent first. She's even admitted she wishes she never worked so hard with me as a child because she wanted me to be lower functioning. She really has some Munchhausen by proxy traits. She claims she wanted me to be lower functioning so I would be able to supposedly get more services...services for autistic people are to help them become higher functioning and for adults, it's just for baby sitting. I think my mom really just wanted a "permanent baby".Β
