Description
Hey hey hey! It's Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaat Johnny! *Does 70's Cartoon Dance* Nice moves Mushmouth!Anyway, hey all! It's me, John, back with an AAALLL NEEEWWWW Dead Days! I present to you part 8 of the 9 part CARTASTROPHE series! I have to say, this comic features one of my favorite panels ever in Dead Days. Might make a T-shirt out of it! That'd be great. And even after alla that, he's still optomistic! Isn't he great?! One more comic to go, looks like he's gonna fight till the end! Will it be a bitter one? A sweet one? A bitter sweet one? You'll find out as soon as I draw the next strip.
I've been doing some other stuff which you'll see right after this series is over! So look forward to that! Anyway, enjoy the comic! I'm so jazzed that there are so many people reading and enjoying a comic strip! I thank you all for reading and hope you come back for the finale!
-John
P.S. T-shirts? Go here: [link]
P.S.S. 63 large eh? I'd ask what I did to deserve this, but the answer would be, "staying up till 3 or 4 AM finishing comic strips because I love my readers."

Wow, that's gotta leave a heck of an aftertaste. I'm definitely liking your use of blurring in the forground and background, and keeping the guy working on the car off panel and allowing us to imagine what he wound up looking like was a great comic device. Anyway, keep up the great work!

Quick question, why do you only put the tree backgrounds in a few of the panels, rather then all of them?

Hey Parry! The reason I do that for blocking issues. Whenever I want a more pedestrian panel, more set in the normal world, or just want a little more detail, I put in some background. But there are times when things are either getting SURREAL or maybe a punchline is approaching, I leave it out because I want the reader to focus on what the characters are doing, not the pretty things around them. No background also works well if you want the panel to be flat. It works great if your humor is dry and flat like mine. Anyway, it's an asthetic thing.

Hey SHHA-BOOM! is one of the best panels ever...That would definitely be a kick ass t-shirt...especially for us handicapable in the car/mechanic area like me. Great job as usual man, I'll stay a fan as long as Dead Days is around.

I really think the "Scha-Boom"-effect you've gotten in the third one looks neat. That's some nice drawing.
Oh, and for the rest of the comic -> (you really feel sorry for that guy)
