Description
started as a cd cover, got rejected for odd reasons. decided to finish it since i found the idea interesting.figure and hair are poser models, rest of the modelling was done in maya, some shaders from around the web.
i'm quite keen about the bodytexture.

wow, gorgeous work. i've always had a thing for eyes, and in the subconscious is where you truely see what is going on. excellent imagery. whoever rejected this as a cd cover is insane

Good Lord... it looks sort of nightmarish yet I can't stop staring at the girl, who somehow looks beautiful even with only one eye. The perspective of the drawers being open all the way to the vanishing point is what scares me most, as I often have feverish nightmares of that sort, and I have no idea why they scare me so. Stunning work!

From what I understand, you work a great deal with industrial bands... I can't imagine what esoteric and shortsighted reasons any EBM project could come up with the to justify passing that up, other than perhaps the possibility that the quality of the art far outshadows the quality of the EBM. So litte of that music is of substance these days.

i love this for a few reasons.
ive been an admirer of your work for a while but this one seems to be a little different to me. its not futuristic or mechanical. theres no machines or implants in her skin. i do love all of those things, but this has other things that make it special... like her outfit. I cant help but notice the 5 pointed star surrounded by a circle, a pentagram. the symbol for femminism. actually looking closer they make up a large part of the outfit which is very pretty and intricate. the symbolism of this may be unintentional (?) but it is there none the less and it fits.
the pose the girl is in seems very defiant to me, her body is quite rigid and head up straight as though she is in more control than her surroundings would suggest. also her arm holding the knife is clenched rather than drooped like someone might be if they had just stabbed themselves in the eye.. it looks to me like she is going to be fighting off all of the other eyes with the knife.
i cant begin to imagine how much work went into the draws. nothing much to say but very nice work indeed.

wow, this is simply amazing. it really reminds me of your earlier work for so many reasons. i am glad to see that this was made in to a wallpaper rather than a CD cover because it works so well this way. that is not to say it would not have worked as a CD cover but, well, you know!
